This book bothered me because first the author wasnt very educated in writing and she was just writing her life story so the writing was not very descreptive. plus i hated the way she acted to her adopted family she was very ungrateful. -Maya E 1
The plot of the story is good and understandable. It holds my attention and makes me wanting to read more. I like how it explains things and puts things into detail.
This book is great for some people, but I have mixed feelings about it. Reading about a little girl seperated from her mother about experencing inhumane hardships is not something i would enjoy. A good book, just not for me.
I really like this book and the whole concept of it. At first i didnt connect with it very well but as i kept reading it was understandable, now i feel very greatful for what i have and how my life has turned out. Olivia S.
This is an amazing book.It really shows the reader what Ashley is going through.I actually cried while reading this because I connect with her. I know all about the foster care system and I feel for her. -Kayla J.
I have mixed feelings of this book. I felt that it was repetative, and Ashley was very ungrateful. But I did feel very terrible for some things she went though. She didn't know better. I thought the author was a little inexperienced, but in a way it made it feel more real, like she was telling it right to me.

I liked this book because it showed how a girl who had been through so much strife, still found happiness and achieved her dreams. Victoria R.
