This book bothered me because first the author wasnt very educated in writing and she was just writing her life story so the writing was not very descreptive. plus i hated the way she acted to her adopted family she was very ungrateful.

The plot of the story is good and understandable. It holds my attention and makes me wanting to read more. I like how it explains things and puts things into detail.

This book is great for some people, but I have mixed feelings about it. Reading about a little girl seperated from her mother about experencing inhumane hardships is not something i would enjoy. A good book, just not for me.

I have mixed feelings of this book. I felt that it was repetative, and Ashley was very ungrateful. But I did feel very terrible for some things she went though. She didn't know better. I thought the author was a little inexperienced, but in a way it made it feel more real, like she was telling it right to me.
