I thnk that the plot is kind of confusing because it switches back and forth between the biking trip that the main characters, Win and Chris, are going on for like a summer project so to speak, and Chris's life after Win dissapears on the bike trip.

the reson i think shift is boring is becaus. the plot is nuthing but flashbacks and his present time in collage. the theme is not going any where. the characters are too complicated and chris the main character is really sensitve. and his friend win is too stuckup.the setting get confuesing.one minit he is in collage the next minit he is back at home prepare for some bike trip.anyway in my openion shift is not worth reading.Russell c first block

I think the book "Shift" is kind of confusing because it switches back and forth every chapter between the main charecter's, Win and Chris', summer bike-cross-country "project" so to speak, and Chris's life after Win dissapears but sends Chris postcards from some place in Idaho posing as a girl named Tricksey.

The book Shift by Jennifer Bradbury was a good a book because it gave good descriptions of the characters and their emotions throughout the story though the plot was kind of confusing because every other chapter was win and chris on their cross country trip and the other chapters were in present day.

I think the book is very good so far. Although the plot is kind of confusing so far I really enjoy it. I like how the characters are represented like real teens.

I like this book although at first it was confusing with the switch between the summer of the bike trip and modern time with Chris at collage but I liked the story line, details foreshadowed what was going to happen but some details you had to pay attion too and pick up on
